BTW - I gigged it.....(read : played it in church)....sunday night instead of using my main bass.
The thing sounded and played great.
And...everybody loved it!

No, real Tbird bodies are Neck Thru, but Warmoth makes them, but with the neck pocket so far out, one needs gorilla arms (and increases neck dive!)
I made my own body from a single piece of Honduran Mahogany, then had a local luthier rout the neck pocket & the rest.
He did a great job has really low action and almost sounds Alembic like.

Cheap (and heavy) MIJ body, WD pickguard, Moses neck, Badass II bridge, Quarter Pounder pickups, Sadowski pre, Schaller tuners. I'll probably get a MIM or Warmoth body for it as it's too heavy right now.

Its not finished yet, I gotta wait and sort out the mess the post office made with my money order (they lost it). All it needs now are the tuners.
