May God hear you! my take is either a SB-5 or a LB-105.

This is what Ed Friedland said in another TB forum post a few months back:

... Now, I just have to convince these guys to make 5 string versions of EVERYTHING they've got. Waddya say? If everyone on TB sent them a note asking for an ASAT 5, or a JB 5, an MJ5... an SB2.5! Maybe they'll get the message. It seems unfair that the 4+1 crowd only gets two models to pick from! Let's show them that we're ready for it!...

The MJ-5 is there, Ed! Hoping it's a beginning...

I see more at TB clamoring for 5 string versions than there.

Just conjecture my sense is the LB 105 would be credible next model.

Based on Carvin's success with a P 5 and Fender's vulnerability with not so great 5 string P's. Just my opinion.

So why read below here? Because a recent discovery has been made:

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed] - this new ad piece I'm pretty sure is for the Portland L5000. The owner seems to have reduced the price to $650, if that ad serves me correct from that site. Sounds like the same bass ("sparkle green finish"), and uses many of the same verbiage as the Portland ad. If you want a $650 L5000 that's available now, NOW MIGHT BE THE TIME TO JUMP ON IT.

...also, I have a new L1505 in the classifieds if anyone is interested, $975. (Plug over)
