I have to stress, this week's roundup is a BIG one for people living in the US, because we have one leftover from last week on eBay (and in good shape), and we also have one on craigslist for a major US city. Very approachable stuff.

This is true, it's a pretty narrow 4-string neck with five strings, quite a bit narrower than G&L's modern 5er offerings. However, I love these basses. The tone is awesome, and even though the spacing is tight, I get real comfy with it fast. It's all a matter of tastes and how much you can do with it or adapt.

It's strange that you can see it from the UK and I can't from France, when the seller is proposing international sale with the ebay Global Shipping Program (the destination is meaningless, as ebay organises the pickup at seller's door and everything all the way on to the final destination).
I can also see that the ebay Global Shipping Program is doing better and better on shipping fees: $56.62 from Texas to the UK for a bass + case is a very low number, while some other ebay sellers stupidly ask up to $250 for shipping, on which custom fees and import VAT (20% to 25%) do apply.

This week's roundup (5/22/2015) - NEW BASS FOUND - San Antonio Texas has an L5000, found by Glazenn. Last week's CL listing expired, and the white/maple shown by audreycashin was sold in the blink of an eye between roundups. The Portland one doesn't seem to be attracting anyone; perhaps we should ask the seller to post on TB classifieds, or at the very least CL, to get more exposure?
