Future Impact now available!! WAS: deep impact reissue!!! interested?

Whats a real kick in the nuts is the inability to load the 4.5Rev software into my V3. Causing a forced upgrade to the V4. I ended up finding a used VIP and grabbed it. But i woulda loved to have just been able to purchase the 4.5rev for my V3.

That’s well documented. The v3 was upgraded as much as it possibly could have been over 9 years; its memory was maxed out. Hence the upgrade.

I felt the same about every smartphone or computer I've purchased over the last 20 years haha! At least the Future Impact v3 is still supported and works the same as when the final firmware was released.

So I hooked up an expression pedal and have it controlling CC1 0-127 and 90% of the presets it has. no effect on. Is there something I need to do in the preset to make it control what it is supposed to control?
Try patch 86. If it does nothing you’re doing something wrong.

ahh I replaced 86 with something else. I switched the CC to 11 and im getting a nice filter effect now with expression. my question is more so how can I make it control other things on the preset. do I need to assign it to a flexi curve. /im reading that in the manual and it sounds like another language to me

By default, CC11 controls the filter. If you want a bigger range, adjust the VCF parameter in the global menu.

Any patch that has some depth set in the LFO section (either to VCO or VCF) will respond to CC1 with no extra work needed.

For anything else, you need to set CC1 as a source in a flexi and assign a slider as a destination. Load factory patch 86 into the editor and take a look at how the flexis are assigned as an example. There are few other factory patches in the 80-90 section which are good examples.
