Future Impact now available!! WAS: deep impact reissue!!! interested?

Most of the time when there's a long build up and a lot of hype around a pedal it generally ends up being relatively disappointing. In fact, I was gearing up for something that kind of copped Deep Impact tones relatively well with some improvements and feeling like that would still be worth having.

Instead, what I've heard so far is a box that stone cold nails all the Deep Impact tones (I've owned two DI's) with better tracking and fidelity AND has a slew of sounds that are amazing sounding, some of which I've tried to find ways to attain for years now.

For better or worse I'm fully on board the hype train for the Future Impact. I don't think it will be the end all, be all (no piece of gear ever is) but I'm incredibly impressed with what I'm hearing in the demo video and sets of clips.

This is exactly how I felt. I was expecting a DI replacement and really did not think much of what that would be. @lokki 's demos completely change my mind though. I want one, I want one bad!

It's not. It's just because people have asked veery two pages (about 400 USD + shipping is the real price btw) so I figured that if everyone would keep asking instead of looking abck 2-3 pages, I would just put up my own price :)

More like 400 USD including shipping, for those not paying VAT in Europe. Unless the Euro has taken a very nice turn in the last few weeks?

Yes, all these demos are ridiculously impressive. Trying to figure if I want to "risk" the first batch, or wait a bit. OTOH I have enough new gear to keep me busy for a while, OTOH there's always the fear production will stop and this will become the "new DI" with even more stratospheric prices.

I wish I could say the same!

I've gort an M5, I've yet to explore this expression-pedal implementation because Line6 didn't use a regular TRS input to control it. Finding an expression pedal that actually works with the Line6 is a PITA. I haven't been able to find the Line6 one here locally, ATBH I don't want it as I've heard the plastic is spastic ie not very robust. What else is there that works with it? Mi$$ion? So even if I get an expr pedal that works with my M5, I'll never be able to say it's superb.

Oh, and my M5 isn't working at the moment, getting it fixed has been low on my list of priorities at the moment. :beaver:
