I've used it with every vendor known to man. Lol! It's literally a credit card. Should work.
I think you guys are talking about different things. Bill me later, @Dark Barn is correct, only some vendors have this. However, you can pay for credit card. Looking at it now, if you click Buy Now, it gives me two options: sign in to my paypal account, or entire a credit card number without signing into my paypal account. I would imagine this works. I just used my paypal account, so cannot confirm.
Any idea what the brokerage fee was? That, and the "pay the VAT first, refund later" thing are giving me pause. Since TNT is a (relatively) small player, they may not even send the bill for the brokerage until much later.

Ordered mine earlier too!!! Not sure why everyone is such in a tizzy about the VAT situation. @Gabor_Gerenyi has mentioned it earlier in this thread.
Everyone thus far had an opinion, since the prototype drawing on this pedal - why not this, why not that.......and they (pandamidi) have been more than accommodating to everyone and hearing everyone out......now this outcry or why aren't they doing this and why don't they do that... when it's already been mentioned this is they way they'be been doing it?! I'd be careful in questioning them or speaking ill..... they may just put you in the end of their order list.
Anyhu, just a heads up for every one on my importing shipping experience. I've used TNT for a bass delivery from UK to US. Before it clears custom they will require that you pay duties first. So make sure you list a proper contact number and they will take payment over the phone (credit card ok).
The only time I haven't paid duties was for parts and it was shipped via post.....all other times I've paid duties.....which I recon on this may be around $25-30.
If for whatever reason it's different this time around, the better.......but if it's not just make sure you list a good contact number for TNT unless you don't mind a delayed delivery!!!

83 Euros isn't chump change, especially when the exchange will have to be eaten. And I don't recall a mention of how soon it will be refunded.

Your logic is not logical. We should not have to pay Vat tax regardless. I've never ever paid it and order hundreds of things of many countries.

I have to disagree with this pretty strongly.
I concede that, as a group, we've been arguably demanding. In our excitement, we've probably been annoying, maybe veering into obnoxious. Andras, Gabor, and lokki have been extremely gracious and, for the most part, very communicative and informative. I appreciate everything they've done in bringing what appears to be an incredible product to fruition, and I am anxiously awaiting mine.
However.
The discussion of VAT was months ago, and the proposed solution was hardly set in stone. To act like it was obvious how it would work is not just in keeping with reality. This is an issue that affects a huge percentage of us and is a totally non-trivial percentage of the pedal's cost which, by law, we should not have to pay. We're not making a mountain out of a molehill here. And as all relevant parties were answering questions during the flurry of activity earlier today, it would have been nice to have an official word. For now I will take lokki's second-hand word for it, but if I'm being honest I'm still the slightest bit uncomfortable with paying a 20+% surcharge and hoping for the refund.
Also, I can't tell if your suggestion of possible retribution is serious or not, but fortunately, I've seen nothing from the official parties to suggest that they would be so incredibly petty.
get them to send you an invoice, you can then pay the invoice using bill me later

Re: brokerage/exchange fees, 426 Euro is 467 USD; I paid $481, and I assume the fees were included in Paypal's conversion. I've never paid internationally via Paypal before, can anyone confirm how this works?
PayPal doesn't charge brokerage fees.
You got screwed on the exchange fee. It's one of the ways PayPal makes money.
There is a chance (however unlikely) that you will get hit with a customs bill upon receiving your pedal.
