Did you get the gate/boost as well? I reckon that is more useable that second settings for the OSD after running mine through my SVT on the weekend. Massive sound that actually makes me consider knocking off my RT and RK both out of my board considerations.

I've managed to satiate my dirt needs outside of Fuzzrocious thus far but the “-king” series has really struck a chord with me. Ron’s review of the Demonking doesn’t hurt either.

Nah, I watched the video of the Gate/Boost mod and didn't think that was really a sound I'd have a use for. I got the 2nd Drive mod so I can basically set one low as an "always on" tone, and use the 2nd setting for heavier parts.
You never left. Glad you're getting the OSD though. I can't speak highly enough of that pedal. Once you get it dialed in right....

Heh, I sold my RT a while back to help pay for my Verellen pre, but I always knew I'd be back eventually. I think the OSD will be more to my liking than the RT anyway.
I find the gate/boost pretty much like a 2nd setting with a sharp gate on it which helps with noise as well as giving it a heavy as tone, though they can deter people from getting the mod. I spent a food 3 months not enjoying the gate/boost until I worked out a way to use it musically. No turning back.
Thats whats up, a full line of bass dirt pedals, there's one for everyone ( or2, or 3, or etc...)
i got the new issue of bass player magazine and they mention their goof up of the wrong heliotropic picture from the holiday issue. So fuzzrocious got 2 mentions in bass player for the price of one.

Pretty sure its the Feb issue. I have the Jan issue with Mike Dirnt on the cover and no mention of Fuzzrocious in that one.

They had quite a few corrections. The Heliotropic one is bottom right part of the page, next to the "binding"

Here is my current board, just updated with new pedals from Ryan. I have 5 Fuzzrocious pedals on my board: Dark Driving, Demon King, Grey Stache, Terrordactyl, and a custom built Spidermanatee (a faux-reverb and tremolo combo).
SO I WANT TO JOIN THE TALK BASS FUZZROCIOUS CLUB!
