Saw Russian Circles here in KC last. They were spectacular; just freakin' amazing.

Brian signed my RT.

just bit the bullet and ordered the etched RT from prymaxe with the 15% discount. it has a feedback mod, but it doesn't say it has the diode toggle (like the sold-out painted ones say, though isn't it stock to have it?)

can't wait! i hope the tax isn't huge when it arrives.

New Dark Driving arrived for me yesterday. Initial impressions are that it has a great tubey warm feel to it. I'd already set my BDPG to add a large dubby amount of bottom end to the signal and just a touch of break up. The DD seems to deliver more of a broad breakup across frequencies - like a heated up amp being pushed hard. The bright mod footswitch is very cool - it pushes the output of the pedal up a bit and seems to allow the clean bass signal to cut through the breakup a little more. I think I'll get good use out of the DD with bright mod engaged and could easily play an entire set with it on.

Good thing for me is it looks like both the DD and BDPG will have solid functions on my board. Both of them can do the mild thing and also the "always on" preamp thing. But they are also pretty different tonally. The DD brings the warm dirt vibe. The BDPG brings the full bottom end boost and EQ shift. To me, the BDPG almost sounds like you physically change amps when it is engaged. I've owned a few of the emulation type preamps and most of them sound pretty fake - SVT in a pedal my arse :) Best thing about the two milder Fuzzrocious pedals is they sound very authentic and have their own vibe. Very cool.

Here's the current list. If something is not right, please PM me so we don't clutter up the thread with details on the list. Viva La Dirt!
