Yeah. I think it might be something wrong with the wiring or a fuse though. Ive seen people push the ampeg hlf 4x10s pretty hard. Thanks to fuzzrocious I've been getting compliments on my bass tone at shows alot more. So I'm not willing to pull back on it at all. I think part of me wants it to set on fire. Even though selling it and upgrading would be a more logical choice. :)

Welcome to warning lights. That's a light that is bleeding off your signal bc you're approaching speaker blowout/tweeter blowout.
You'll have to lower your volume, treble, and/or bass.

Yeah. It wasn't happening with my Orange head. So I think its a wattage/defective head issue. Im going back to a 500 watt head , which is what the cab is rated. Hope that solves the problem.

I got rid of my of my 4x10 and went to a 6x10. It fixed the issue for a while...you can turn off the tweeter, but there still is the chance of blowing a speaker.

Yeah, I hear ya. The 6x10 is what Im lookin to get. Especially with the Helio on the way. I'm really looking foward to that and turning down is not gonna work out. I have a honda civic, I just hope the 6x10 fits in the back seat.

My first car was a 91' Honda Civic. Lay the back seat flat and it will hold a sh*tload of bass gear. I packed a 4x10, 1x15, 4 space SKB rack case, bass in hard case, bag of cables, bass stand, skateboard, another bag of pedals and still had the front seat open for a passenger. And I could still see out of the back window.

I just got my Dark Driving in the mail today(weeeee!!!). It has a small toggle switch on top. Can anyone tell me what it does? I checked the websites instruction page but it has the newer big pedal with the 2 foot switches. I have the older small box one.

The toggle and footswitch are the same thing ;). Switches b/w a dark and brighter setting. Bright would work better for g****rs.

How about a grey dick stache? Just the two in one pedal with maybe more gain or maybe something crazy, that I haven't even heard of yet. But maybe the middle footswitch could turn them both on and then there would be a left and right to use them seperatley.

lol. i got a 6x10, luckily have a small 4x4 Nissan x-trail. Fits all my gear. is it a hatch back or sedan? as long as the seats fold down you should be ok.
