I`m about to put my Dark Driving on my board. I`m thinking of putting it pretty much first in line. So it would be DD-> Rat Tail-> Gray Stache then my filters and delays. Is that the standard order? DD first?

My philosophy: Don't let someone tell you what order is right or wrong... it's all about what works best for you! :bassist:

That said, I DO have my DD at the beginning of my chain, but that's partly because I have the Tone Hammer for dirt at the end if I need it there instead.

I hear ya! I`m pretty much set on putting it first mainly cause I want to use it as a "always on od" and I heard good things about feeding it into other pedals.
I have a And AArdvarks! od/boost pedal that`s already on my board that I need to play around with. That might go before or after the DD. I gotta see what sounds best. I like running that boost before my Rat Tail cause it sounds gnarly when I have the RT going then stomp on the boost. That combo is Crush city!

Keeping my fingers crossed that when I get my Dark Demon Dick, I like it all near the beginning of my chain, because I didn't realize until just the other day (due to a recent post in this thread) that a Grey Stache with an OSD in front of it is pretty much the Death Star... it destroys worlds. Oh well, I was hoping to consolidate pedal board space with this new purchase, but I suppose I could always double Demon it.

Who said having two BDPG on a board was a bad thing though run both together and I say you crush everything again. I don't really have much love for my grey Stache but has its uses from time to time.

Awesome, I'll check them out, right outta the gate i'll say that "black metal against hope" sounds appealing. Between them and Alpha Male Tea Party I'll have my new music set for the month. Shep covered them on his blog, great three piece from UK. Amazing bass playing. This guy makes me wanna buy a warwick. :hiding: I Know! Its that good!
