Fuzzrocious Club - Sextuplet

Holy hell there's a lot of money sittin on your board!! Awesome stuff. I recently built a pedal board, pedal train pro size, and I'm looking forward to my board looking ALMOST as full as yours. I need to know, what are you using for a power supply? And are you daisy chaining at all in there? Another thing, do you have issues with noise? And if so, how are you remedying that? You and me have a lot of the same pedals. Well, a few anyway. How are you using your B7K?

Thanks Greg. It has taken a long time to build that board. In fact, only the B7K and BDPG are new. The rest I acquired through some trades and classifieds buys. I use 3 One spots for power. I have each daisy chain broken up by current drain. I find the B7K is the most sensitive of all my pedals when paired with high current pedals. It tends to hum if you load up the chain. I have no issues with noise whatsoever. Clean as can be. Under the board, I have a standard power strip mounted. I use the B7K as my primary tone shaper. It is almost always on. I use the BDDI for a nice R&B mid scoop sound when needed. My Mesa is really bright, and on occasion I like to darken it. The BDDI is the most efficient way to do that.

And how are you utilizing your xotic blend? Sorry for all the questions, I was like daaaaaaag when I saw your board. How's that ditto treating you? I've been eyeballin that one for a min.

I use the X-blender for all my dirt. The Iron Pig, M5, ECT, and SA MWBD are in the effects loop. It gives me total control over how much and how heavy my dirt gets. I pick the nastiest settings on each pedal, and if I want just a little fuzz or OD, I roll the Dry knob on the X-blender over a bit. The knob is big enough that I can twist it during a song with my foot. It's all about dynamics. I just got the ditto this week and I love it. Little to no latency at all. I love that you can pause and bring back a loop at anytime. I never know how many musicians I am going to be playing with each week, so if I need to cover more space in a one guitar setup, the ditto really helps fill the space. Feel free to PM me if you have any more questions, I love talking gear.

Awesome, thanks for the info. You will probably be hearing from me at some point. I've been eying the xotic quite a bit because my board is getting bigger as the months roll by lately and I'm wanting to get a boss ls2 to have a separate dirty and clean chain and the xotic looks like it'd help a lot in, well, blending it all together. GAS has killed my bank as of late and I just can't afford too much now a days.

This wonderful beauty came today! Gonna make fuzz babies with her tonight!

me too, but iam waiting on a painted OSD. I'm just gonna have my bdpg, grey stache, and OSD with a compressor on one small board, and run my KORG AX300B pedal into it. The KORG is an old pedal, late '90's, that is digital but it came out before the amp modleling BS became hip, so its just effects with a mixer style blend thing and its a lower bit rate so it sounds warm and organic, not sterile like most multi's do now. If your a primus or les claypool fan of anything from anti-pop on, you have heard this pedal. The envelope filter pre sets have a very atomospheric, eerie sound that you can tweek to your liking. Thats all claypool uses it for, and me too, i love it.

Oh man this sounds awesome. I love the sound of anti pop. I need to get on this fuzzorocious wagon soon! They have some superb stuff.

Just wanted to chime in and say that my Rat Tail is king of my board at the moment. It does double duty as a light OD, a task I wasn't expecting it to do well with, but I was waaay wrong. I also have it after my Proton and it does an amazing job accentuating the filter's vowel like sounds- think Bassballs, but with much more depth and flexibility. It also stacks with a Pickle Pie B. I am happy.:hyper:

I have decided that my next pedal will be a Dark Driving. I need to get a pedal back that I sent for repairs so I can sell it for funds, maybe another one as well. Then, it will be time to order. Maybe hand painted on blue enclosure.

the korg ax 300b pedal has nothing to do with fuzzrocious, its a bass multi effect from the 90's, but i run it through my fuzzrocious pedals and it transforms from eerie to super heavy. I just talked about it because its an obscure piece of gear most dont know about. But everything sounds better with a fuzrocious Broke Dick Peanut Gallery after it.

Sound clips please???

Sound clips please???

i have 2 friends running pro studios, well one pro and one with pro gear, I hope to do some vids and sound clips soon when we record but I just dont have the equipment to do it on my own and if I do it I want to do a demo of the BDPG, Grey Stache, and the Oh See Demon alone, together, and with other effects and with decent sound quality, my bros can help me out there.
