Fuzzrocious Club - Sextuplet

moving back to rats... I have a rat tail on its way to me, and just wondered how everyone was using their rats in a multi-dirt setup?

are you using your rat tails before or after fuzz and/or o/d pedals??

cheers

Most folks would ramp up there drive's from low to high, but Justin of TOOL runs his entire board, including his 70's tonebender fuzz, through a turbo rat/boss bass eq/presc. elec overdriver combo before hitting one head and cab, the second rig gets his entire board then straight to the clean head with out the rat set up but both rigs are always on. I suggest trying before and after your fuzz to hear wich you like best. My buddy helped do monitors for tool and he said it sounded wicked running fuzz through his rat set up, wich is kinda like a make shift rat tail.

to add to my previous post, Justin Chancellor is a big dog that would love the Rat tail. My band MARSUPIOUS was going to upon up for TOOL on the 10,000 Days tour for the New Mexico shows until a buddy of theirs band from LA became available but our singer( who has a phd and masters in social work) got ahold of their management to get us in (until there friends band said yes). If I can get the info from him I'll mail it to Ryan

That's interesting. Splitting the signal later down the chain, and then running one side through a rat (+ etc.). Thanks for the info. Not sure how many of us mortals run two full rigs on a regular basis, but I might give it a shot for a special occasion.
