Since that video is EyeBallKid's, it's the one I used to own which means it was a mid-bump/tone-bypass on the switch.
I actually run my dirt pedals from high gain to low gain. I fell in love with the combo GS>RT
I love running pedals into my RT so juicy and dirty.

Just a note - personally, I think the RTM blows the K Drive out of the water 100% of the time all of the time.
Just thought I'd pop in here. I've had a couple months with my BDPG and I LOVE it. I've had a handful of rehearsals and 1 gig with it and I love what it does to the sound of my bass. I would say I have it on 90% of the time at this point. In fact, I've always really like the sound of my rig but now with the BDPG, when I do kick it off I feel like things sound kind of meh.
It just really pushes the tone and the fullness of the tone. Like the speakers are about to blow up at any given moment (in a good way, hope they don't actually) lol.
I run mine pregain at noon, volume cranked, tone at about 9 and I boost the mids on my bass a hair.
Great pedal. Still need to snap a pic of myself with it to send to Ry for the kid paint album....

He also did rat king, OSD, and heleiotropic demos too. when I see him tomorrow I'll be bringing my stache and possibly my custom RT-OSD-GS
I currently have the BDPG in front of my B7K, and am wondering if there is a better place for it. I'm not unhappy with it at the top of the chain, rather I am wondering if it would be better suited further down the line. Before I rewire 12 pedals, I thought I would ask.

99% of folks use preamps in general at the end of the chain either before delay or after. Give it a shot there.

Got this Rat King in today.
Yup! That was the Rat King prototype. The first owner added his own art to it b/c we sold it blank. Enjoy!
yeah I would try it at the end, you may have to fine tune a few things, but the bdpg can really make other pedals sound better. Mine is always on/always dirty and everything sings.
That doesn't help....I've listened to clips of the RTM too...and there is still one available on the site for immediate sales.....
New WOE album later this month, its lofi and distorted and the bass has a distinctive growl, enhanced by the lo fi production. I suspect they put those OSD's to use on this one. Some people say you cant hear the bass in black metal, I guess they never really listened to BATHORY and Darkthrone, they just say they did.One of the best bass overdrive tones ever is Darkthrone's "Under a Funeral Moon".

Holy hell there's a lot of money sittin on your board!! Awesome stuff. I recently built a pedal board, pedal train pro size, and I'm looking forward to my board looking ALMOST as full as yours. I need to know, what are you using for a power supply? And are you daisy chaining at all in there? Another thing, do you have issues with noise? And if so, how are you remedying that? You and me have a lot of the same pedals. Well, a few anyway. How are you using your B7K?
And how are you utilizing your xotic blend? Sorry for all the questions, I was like daaaaaaag when I saw your board. How's that ditto treating you? I've been eyeballin that one for a min.
