It's a type of diode. They were used in the Supercollider and we use them in the Dark Driving too.

Nothing wrong with owning two (*see Plays For Dog and Rosstanium). Kidding! I've been listening to you guys and like what Brian @ ss/bs does with his options, so it feels like giving users options is the way to go!

Just out of pure curiosity, would it be possible to get a GS+ with all of the mods? I understand that it would require a larger enclosure and possibly a slight alteration vis a vis switching diodes (not seen a 5 way toggle switch), but would it be possible?

Tone bypass for new GS is like a momentary switch in tremolo but for bypassed signal? So, if I push that - it'll be clean signal, if stop - dirty again, right?
Really tempted for new clipping options in GS

And could you please show some pics for new DD knobs, when first one will be done. Thanks!

Tone bypass only bypasses the tone section of the circuit, so there would be no tone coloring. It can be on latching or momentary switch.

Sure, we could do a fully modded GS+. A rotary would work better than a 5 way toggle (if there even is one?).

I like it simple so getting a GS without bells and whistles for 120$ is really tempting!
and then the different colorings.... NICE!!!

Same tonestack as all other GS versions. Still has tone and mids knobs.

We had a killer show at the Utica Music fest and the Rat Tail was my hero again, had it on by mistake and started a song which I usually play without dirt. It/I killed it, that pedal is magic!

Very cool! That'll happen to me, but in reverse sometimes where I'll play clean (which I loathe).
