Yeah, I was checking this one out yesterday right after I ordered a Demon (can't wait for to finally get my hands on one!). I dig Patrick's demos but his right hand attack is way stronger than mine so I'm looking forward to seeing some additional demos on on this. But I suspect I'll end up with one of these. Love the simplicity and multiple settings.

Likewise, I don't ever use a pick so I'm excited for more demos as well but will certainly be getting one (maybe two) of these for a couple boards. The simplicity is brilliant and I didn't hear a setting I wasn't digging on

That's wild, WHY DO YOU PREFER SIDE JACKS????

LOL I love this discussion. Its completely aesthetic. I don't like how tall most pedals with top jacks are, and I can fit all the pedals I need on my board with side jacks. I understand top jacks are usually better for most, and it makes sense, but I prefer sides. On bigger sized boxes I prefer top though.

That is nuts but more power to ya

a similar idea, yeh i still really wanna try a baxstabber
Oof- I got one and have been having problems with low notes distorting out whenever the right cap selector is above 4, even on my passive jazz bass.

Definitely try it out before you buy it. If you just want it to color dirt it's probably ok, but I wanted to use it as a kind of EQ to give me a gravy brown reggae tone and it is not working for me in that capacity. It's working ok for a scooped funk tone, but I am a bit bummed that half of the pedal is basically not available for me. And no option to run it at higher voltages to try and increase headroom without voiding the warranty.
