Couldn't agree more. The simplicity of the LunaReclipse is a huge plus and I've found that the different settings are voiced so well that I'm not wishing for additional tone controls.

Just got notification that my LunaReclipse crate is en route to my GA doorstep!
After the Grey Stache found itself to be the only fuzz I've enjoyed playing through, I trust the Fuzzrocious family with all of my dirt needs.
I'm looking forward to trying this one out. My band is playing out on 10/27, I'm confident that not only will this guy make my pedalboard, but it may blow the doors off of whoevers house it is we're playing!

Yeah, the LunaReclipse is very sweet. My board has been going through some significant changes lately but the LunaReclipse is there to stay. Right now I have mine in front of a Darkglass Alpha-Omicron and I'm still using the clean boost (position 12 on the dial) always on. It just adds a certain presence to my overall tone that while hard to verbalize, is definitely missed when I turn it off. I'm thinking about getting another one but I have a Demon on order so I'm waiting to see what that brings before deciding whether I need another LunaReclipse.
Looking forward to hearing how the LunaReclipse works out for you.

My opinion: not a home run, this bad daddy is a GRAND SLAM!
Used with a Matt Freeman P bass and fresh nickel strings
Currently positions 1, 4, 7, and 11 are my favorites.
This pedal is incredibly responsive to dynamics - you can get it to crunch really nicely or just simply sound like glowing tubes. Do NOT sleep on the clean boost it provides either.
I was using it with my headphones at home - haven't gotten to use it through my live rig yet. But my confidence level with this pedal is doubled from what it already was.

Absolutely! Was able to take a couple of things off of my pedalboard to put the LR in their place.
I would say there are a couple of settings that get that distorted, but overall, it is a milder distortion than that.
Really dig the riffs in that song. Only had a few minutes to mess with it just now and quickly record this. Warwick Corvette>Keeley Bassist>EQ>LunaReclipse (Setting 12 - clean boost)>SCR-DI>Wiretap. This is my always on tone which isn't quite as heavy as the tone in the song but it gets in the ballpark. I'm not a pick player but tried to blast through the riff a few times with a pick since it's really needed to get that aggressive attack. Sloppy playing on my part but I don't care, blast of a riff to jam on anyway. I'll mess around with it some more later, using other settings and adding my Alpha-Omicron. Pretty sure I can cop that tone.

It sounds like the dirty octave up tones of the Depth Charge. The luna can't do that or sound as aggressive, but when paired with another pedal, you can get into that grind territory.
What a brilliant idea for a pedal. Reminds me of that tonestyler passive tone knob that you put in basses.
That is actually a very good analogy.
Do you recommend putting the pedal before or after other dirt?
I think you can make a case either way. I have mine before my other dirt since I'm using the clean boost to drive everything behind it.

I suggest post-pedals or post-dirt pedals so you "re-clip" the circuits, as the name of the pedal suggests. It will act and influence differently based on where you place it in your chain, so no one way is a must.
