G. Gould Basses @ Rocket Music!

Now this is a brand that interests me very much. I’ve owned 3 different Modulus Quantum basses and one Zon Sonus Custom years ago, and always loved the graphite necks.

We might need to discuss an order sometime in the not too distant future.
I had a pair of Modulus Q5 basses (Bartolini electronics) in the late 90's (fretted and fretless) that I thought would be my forever basses. Well, you know how that goes, and I'm very happy with my Roscoe's, but I did love those Modulus basses. They were the first $3K plus basses I bought, probably within a month of each other.

Hello!! The Cocobolo GGi5 body now has a lovely gloss finish on it. @GeoffGould should be in the home stretch with this one, so hopefully it arrives here at Rocket within a couple/few weeks.

I'm looking to order SST GGi5 Standard Metallic Grey painted. Geoff's necks beat the moduli I've ever played.

@JacobMiranda - how did I miss this post? Shame on me, but I'm glad we connected via email!

Feel free to share some photos of your G. Gould basses whenever you have a sec?

Hubba, hubba. This GGi5 is a special order for a customer who found the Ebony top and then approached me and Geoff about turning the top into a bass. This is the body after sanding I believe, no finish on it yet. It'll come with an Ebony fretboard w/ Abalone blocks. Should be pretty amazing when it's all done!

Here's a cool new Hybrid GGi5-S that just arrived from @GeoffGould. It's got his new-ish Hybrid neck which is real Maple with a healthy but of graphite built into the neck somehow. It also has his SST (Sweet Spot Turbo) pickup locations. Looks like a traditional neck, sounds like a graphite neck.

It's a super cool bass that was a special order, so it'll be headed to its new home shortly.

Any neck dive with this one from the lighter body? Thanks!
It feels like it should dive when I balance it on one hand deep in the neck pocket. But I just put it on the slickest strap I have, and it doesn't dive. If I used a grabbier strap (like the Levy's M4-GF), it definitely wouldn't dive.
