I recently acquired a set of Bartolini pickups.On the back it says 58GGM34C and I was told the GG stands for Geoff Gould.Can anyone give any information on these?

Not to get off your subject but I noticed in your photo of your pickups the wear on the covers, I've had this exact thing happen on bartolini's on numerous Modulus Quantums and I can't figure out what causes this, I don't feel the string touching the covers when I'm playing and it actual looks like the pickup covers are melting, does anybody know what causes this?
It's the strings against the covers--in many examples you can see the wear marks from the windings. Fingers rubbing agains the pickups will "polish" the pickups but doesn't really put mach actual wear on them.
Yeah I got them in this condition. It looks like the previous owner really dug in or had the strings really low.there is a pretty deep gouge in the neck pickup where I he e string would be.
Agreed on the covers. My Tobias Killer B 5 string has wear just like above form playing. I play pretty hard at times and it was my main bass for over 10 years. So yea, those scars are love marks! Haha

I wonder who told you they were made for me. I don't recognize anything special about them. I did have a special pickup made for the original Quantum basses, but these are not those.
Its was just talkbass hear say.I posted a thread about them to try to find some info

Probably they were made for me back in the Modulus days, and they are simply serializing the pickups to track them. These models are not unique to me, like the ones on the old Quantum basses.
geoff, the bartolini's that were made for you, are you talking about the pickups that were slightly bigger at the neck position?
i had an older quantum 5 not too long ago and the bartolini in the neck position was around 36mm and the bartolini in the bridge position was around 33mm.
the brandings on the back of the pickups were:
neck - GGBD5E
bridge - GGBC5C

as a head's up, i found one of my unicorns (modulus tbx with coco top). "the boss" was none too pleased i put it on my card so will be moving one or two of my gould's over at the classifieds in a day or two. 
The Walnut GGJ5 on Reverb used to belong to me. I got it from pnutz about 14 years ago (can't believe it has been that long!) I sold it four years ago, minus the ding in the side, to someone here in CA who didn't keep it very long and sold it to someone in Florida. Wonder what happened to the original hardshell case? It is a nice bass with a punchy sounding B-string but I liked the width and profile of the (wooden) neck on my cocobolo GGi5 a lot more and also didn't care for the jazz bass style EMG pickups in the Walnut bass. My GGi5 has EMGs that were custom wound for Geoff. One great thing about the EMG pickup systems, though, is that they are plug and play and you can easily swap between EMG pickup styles.
Give a heads up here when you do. I'd love to see what your selling. That TBX must have cost a pretty penny I guess...as a head's up, i found one of my unicorns (modulus tbx with coco top). Interesting to hear your thoughts on the neck differences. Does the Graphite neck also feel a lot different from the maple one? Do you prefer one over the other? Or have you not played a graphite one?

yeah, the tbx was from here. the seller was not as forthcoming with her condition when he sold it to me so she's getting some work done (refin, pickups, etc.).

yup, was one of the first gould's made. it's 17mm at the bridge. modulus width neck (i believe 1 7/8" at the nut and 2 3/4" at the 24th fret).
geoff's basses now are closer to 18mm (3" at the 24th fret) which is much nicer i.m.o.
more 'breathing room' between strings.
