You KNOW I did!! :)
I loved that one so much, I lost my mind and sold an as new 2011 Stingray Classic and used that money to buy a new 2011 fullerton red L-2000 from an online dealer.....rosewood fretboard...gun oil neck...#7....
But once I got it and played it....
Wished I never did the deal...
It just was not the bass the "butterscotch blonde" with the Birdeyes fretboard....gun oiled #8 neck is....

My eyes! My eyes!! I can't see!..... :D What a collection.

wow, that is a super collection ! the reason i asked when they started the cherryburst was years back i asked for some custom colors, two tone, with the headstocks matching the center colors. and they said it wouldent come out right because the colors would run and blur into each other. i said "do it anyways?" and they came out fine. i will post a photo soon.

My first post here, and my first G&L bass (actually my first bass since I have just started the steep learning curve of playing this thing...).

It's a 1991 SB-2 and as you can see it's a custom. I just love this satin black finish..! Don't know if it left the factory like this, or if the custom job was done later. I bought it from a guy called Darth ;)

No, I bought it from a dealer in the UK and I've been looking through all the G&L threads here on the forum hoping that I could find it and learn more about it's history, but no luck... Maybe some of you guys has seen this one before and can help more info on it?
