I'll post some pics later. Only had it about 36 hours. But it's gorgeous. Vintage White, rosewood and a mint guard. Greg knows how to spec a friggin bass y'all.

I would get an El Toro in Yellow like the one I missed out on in Nashville 1992 but the pickups NEED to be parallel and series not just series

Oooops I meant I want el toro pickups in SERIES not just parallel

Pretty! It's subtle, but I really like the figuring on the headstock and thd back of the neck.

Yeah that one is def cool. Spec sheet says Empress body, probably a nice weight.

Until 7 years ago I did. Then I changed bands and genres and didn't need the low B any more (or the weight) so sold off a couple of fivers, but not my L-2500.

I've just had some band upheaval (long uninteresting story) so it might again see action in the not too distant future.

Mine has this switch. I think all El-Toros did. When series is on the pickup selector switch is wired out. Big fat sound.

Question for fellow G&L lovers…

I already have an L2500, one that is quite special, most of you have seen it.

I may want to get another USA G&L.
If you were me, would you get another L2500 that's not-so-special or get a Kiloton5?
I have never played a Kilo5, no one around me has one, so I don't know its nuances.
