With respect, have to disagree. The Ed Friedland mashup demonstrates that the M2500 is very much an MFD bass and that's absolutely my experience.
It's a more contemporary take, but underwinding the MFDs slightly doesn't remove their characteristic flavour. Nothing but nothing milk toast about my M2500.
1000% agree. If I want more "snarl" from my M2500 I just boost the upper mids on my amp. But the mid cut slap tone on the M2500 seems to be it's own thing, at least to my ears it's got that ultra modern hi-fi glassy tone that cuts like crazy. Love it.
