I saw nothing saying you couldn't return it, but you'd have to pay the shipping I'm sure. It says they cover warranties except for the issues they've detailed in the description. Clearance instruments should be returnable. Saw one return due to weight not being accurate on a Tribute in this thread. I also know first hand that they warranty them. My B-Stock Kilo 5 had a neck replacement within the first few months of me owning it. Warranty was very easy to get approved and everything went well. Worst part was wait time for replacement, but they hit the target that they communicated to me, so no real complaints there.
On some of the instruments they sell, I would not worry too much about returns. If it is defective, use the warranty. If you do not like it, sell it and get more than your money back (at least on the US ones at the current sale prices that they have).
Edit: You can also pay with PayPal which would offer buyer protection should you end up needing it.

I'm keeping an eye on that ruby red metallic L2000 myself. It's heavy--10.1 lbs, according to them--but I seldom play any long gigs anymore, so weight is not really a problem. Space is a problem. If I buy another bass, I'm going to have to rent warehouse space to store all my basses. How did I get to this point?
An SB-1 5 string with an mfd split coil would be great. If they are already making the pickup for the matador 5 anyway.

Could you extend me a loan...not for the bass, but for the security deposit plus first and last month's rent on my warehouse space? Climate controlled storage is so expensive these days! Paying for that is almost as much as a tank of gas!
Yeah, that bass is a beauty. A friend of mine bought a BTO ruby red metallic LB-100 a couple months ago, and he's still raving about it.

I'm guessing not, but that's just a guess. They don't tend to offer the Custom Shop exclusive things for aftermarket because they don't make them in large quantities. Like I recently tried to buy a black crinkle bridge for a guy who wanted one, and I was basically told "sure, put together a Custom Shop order and we'll install the bridge on that bass."

Ooops. Egg on my face. I just got a note from Ron @ G&L - he had missed the "V" part of the "Matador V" in my question. He says they're going to use Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders for the 5-string for now.

This is what plagues me.
I have another MFD HB to make this a Hog-2000 with a Bo1 preamp in a pedal but it does what it does so well I am a scardy cat about removing more wood esp cause it's
My #2 this has the larger hole poles on the HB and the extra HB I have doesnt have pat# so I would be playing with which sounded good where. If it was my #1 I would.risk it and rout it. Since it's a 1-5/8" nut I doubt I will ever find a trade for another 1-5/8" but I know whomever would have this as their #1 probably wouldnt want wood out and while that's hypothetically 5-10 years from now I dont wanna remove wood willy Billy please talk me in.or out of the Hog2k plan.
