Thanks,TDR1138, Not looking for anything else,don't care to improve on the fretless,just need to get down to just a couple basses? If I sell the Asat,I can justify keeping the other L2000?

Ah, I didn't realize that the bass was originally fretted. In that case, if you otherwise like the bass and don't mind the monetary hit, I'd support getting it fretted. If it was a factory fretless - especially an unlined fretless, I'd feel different about it.
I'd like to have an ASAT bass at some point - maybe a Tom Hamilton (I saw one in the classifieds the other day). A fretless ASAT would be pretty cool, too, but I'm already busting at the seams with fretless basses.

Last week I posted about how much I enjoyed gigging the M2000 GTB with my Genz Benz Streamliner 600 and 2 GK NEO 112 cabs. This past weekend I took it out again (of course) and ran it through a TC Electronic BH800 with 2 TC K212 cabs to see if I would get the same feeling again on a different rig.
Man that bass is impressing the hell out of me and I got 2 more compliments on it again.
Honeymoon period or not, I am definitely going to be hunting for an M2000 GTS now. I just have to figure out how to come up with the funds for it now.

GTB? GTS? I'm not aware of these designations. What are they, please?
Two types of Tribute M2000:
GTB: white with black body binding, matching headstock
GTS: transparent black with white body binding, matching headstock

I agree most indubitably. It also helps that they sound great too IMHO.
