New fretless L-2500 with a 4+1 headstock spotted on FB!
That's how I ordered my fretted L-2500, with a Modern C5 neck and 4+1 headstock just like my fretless Kiloton 5. Should be ready soon, so I've been watching G&L's posts daily to see if they say it's on it's way.New fretless L-2500 with a 4+1 headstock spotted on FB!

I saw this one on FB today and just love it. Almost makes me want to trade my Kiloton 5... almost.

In order to get the 4+1, I had to go with custom shop. This increased the overall order by $400 US (a lot more in Canadian dollars). But it also means they will give it the custom shop treatment overall, in terms of wood selection, fret dressing and finishing.BTW, how much did you pay for the 4+1 headstock config?
From my buddy Steve from the "Bass Hang"
Here is a quick demo of my USA G&L Custom Shop Matador Bass.
The Matador is only available as a Custom Shop instrument at the moment.
This bass has a Swamp Ash body with a custom 2 tone-frost burst with matching headstock, a maple neck and Wenge fretboard.
The controls are: Volume for each pickup, master tone and a switch that affects the neck pickup only and goes from parallel to series.
The Alnico V pickups are wound hotter than normal and the bridge pickup has more winds than the neck pickup.
The bass is loaded with DR Pure Blues and I recored the bass Direct through my A-Designs Audio REDDI and UA 2-1176 and Apollo Twin Duo and used Tsunami Cables for all connections. I installed the Hipshot D-tuner.
I will do a more complete review in a month or two after I've been gigging the bass for a while. So far it is outstanding!!!

Ah, the video link is set to 4:20 into the video so you never see it unless you rewind to the beginning... I just thought it was a poorly edited start to the videoHe's playing the JB at the beginning isn't he?
