Everyone ok?? I don't recall a gap in this club of over 24hrs before.![]()

Been nursing a throat infection. Tried to play today and made it as far as my couch. I could see my Basses but that’s where it ended.Everyone ok?? I don't recall a gap in this club of over 24hrs before.![]()
I thought about adding an SB2 but I don't like the lack of tone knob. A kiloton might be a nice choice.
I've been tasked with picking out a Christmas gift for myself. My wife wants me to provide several choices and she'll pick what I get. Right now.....I'm extremely content with my array of basses. I'm fighting the urge to list several G&Ls like I already have, just so I can add different color variations.

Very elegant! Is that a pine body?
Great price, great bass. G&L's manage to hold on to their youthful looks for a long time...Swamp Ash...bought this on Reverb a couple of years ago at a great price![]()

Hmmm. . . I wonder if that whole battery in/battery out thing isn't psychological. I will have to try that with my L2K and psyche myself out - I mean hear if there's a difference. Those MFD's definitely have the output to run passive - they could punch through walls. Holy cow!
I've seen it stated that there seems to be a slight tonal difference (perhaps for the better) when running in passive mode with the battery physically removed from the circuit. I haven't gotten that far yet to try that out, but I've read something like that along those lines on here and found it interesting. Mental note made to try that out.![]()
That finish..........Okay then, I posted this in another thread but for sake of keeping the thread moving along.
Completely loving this L2500 Tribute!
