Anyone know if the MFD jazz bass pickups will be available soon? Can't take that long to make them right?
Well there is tooling, process, patent protection, oh, and Covid-19.
My delivery from Chandler Music (Pickguard Planet). For the record, this is a G&L Tribute JB4. They did NOT have the pattern for it or the Tribute LB100. I had to ship them my pickguards to trace. The end results are fantastic and communication with the store was excellent. I highly recommend them.

BTW, that is the reflection of an American flag I have hanging in our music room. It's not some weird pattern. The grape is flawless.

See, I love this!! I've been wanting my first G & L ... been on hold due to a couple of high dollar financial hits... want to grab a JB4, in this color, but I don't like plain white pick gaurds... this color with the pearloid looks great!!

Looks amazing! Can you share who Marty is that refinished it is? I have another bass at a refinisher, and the 14 week timeline has now come and gone over a month ago. Still waiting for an update. Ugh. Anyway, I am interested in a refinish on another bass and this looks like excellent quality!
