@SJLee You can leave it at my place, if you're just looking to leave it somewhere...
I already posted these in a thread about G&L finishes, but I officially became eligible for membership in the club last week. Brand new L2500, swamp ash, blue burst with natural binding, quarter sawn neck, maple board, matching headstock, and the factory SCM mod, fresh out of Fullerton. Fortunately, there is no trace of any QC issues that I know have plagued some others with factory-fresh instruments from G&L as far as I can tell. I ordered it in December and was quoted 17 weeks by G&L / the local dealer, and they hit that timeline almost exactly to the day.
I'm loving it, the finish is killer and the wood grain from the swamp ash really jumps out through the finish in good light. The finish on the headstock is really really nice in person as well. The tonal versatility is awesome, especially with the SCM mod. My other bass is a Suhr-era fretless Am. Deluxe Fender Jazz Bass V, and it's crazy how much louder the pickups are on the L2500 than on that bass!

Thanks, I learned something new today!Yes, East Indian Walnut, otherwise known as Monkey Pod.
@SJLee what a beauty! I'll take it, let me just get you my shipping information...
I wonder if @RocketMusic has ever considered lining up another Monkey Pod run with G&L? I don't think I could resist that temptation...
LB 100 pickup question. I recently bought a 90''s LB 100 and love the bass. But the white pickup covers are a little over the top for me. Will replacement covers for a Fender P fit directly on the LB 100 pickups?
It's not gratuitous, it's TB! Without pictures, it never happened!!yes!
(gratuitous overposting of my 90s LB-100 with stock pickup and replacement covers shown for proof)

(you get bonus points for matching your silks to the finish of the bass, nice work!)
Thanks for the response. Love that color man. What a beauty. If I could be so bold, might I suggest that a 3 ply parchment pickguard would look really classy.yes!
