Very cool Greg! I would think there might be a steady demand for both but especially the L-1005 since it's new.

I doubt they do. It wasn't long ago that they had to borrow someone's L1000 to get all the specs so they could do a limited run of them. I have a feeling that they switched to the CNC long after those models were discontinued. But hey, you can always ask and may be surprised.

I probably shouldn't even say anything until something actually arrives... I don't want to get anyone's hopes up... but... :)

I just saw on my end-of-June statement that G&L invoiced me on 6/30 for an amount that would indicate 2 of these L-1000 or L-1005 basses have shipped. I don't have the actual invoice in hand, so I don't know for sure yet. The mail will solve that problem in a couple days, and then UPS should deliver 2 boxes sometime next week.

Who's feeling lucky?!? :)

PS - I fully understand that this was ridiculously quick turnaround, these are arriving waaaaaay under the 2-3 month estimate I made. If anyone needs some time to come up with their final payment, I completely understand.
