I just realized that I'm heading out of town this weekend, and I won't be returning until Monday afternoon at the earliest (it'll probably be Tuesday before I'm really back in the saddle here at the store...

Sooooo... I'm going to extend the deadline to get these L-1000 orders wrapped up until Tuesday June 24. So 7 days left to go!

I'll have internet access over the weekend, so I'll still be able to answer questions, do quotes and accept deposits. I might not be able to respond as quickly as usual since I'll be out and about cavorting in Richmond and Norfolk (Bayou Boogaloo & Cajun Food Festival), but I will make time to check in with PMs & emails as often as I can.

I'm selling a bass on consignment to fund a G&L purchase, so it is unlikely that I will be able to get in on this run. However, the thought of an L1005 grabbed my attention and I wanted to chime in to express my interest.

I'm dreaming of a clear red/ash 1005

Let me know if you're after something specific in terms of any other upgrades (like neck tint, quartersawn maple for the neck, neck profile, matching headstock, etc.)...

Sadly, no, those colors are only available on the Detroit Muscle Series instruments...

Speaking of which - I did just brag an LB-100 DMS in Marina Blue. It should arrive here in about a week...

Looks like I'm out of this run. My dog recently had surgery and went back to the vet last Friday. There were some complications so he stayed the weekend. I picked him up today and got another huge vet bill. Well, the total cost so far would have just about paid for this bass. Oh well, next time. At least I got my dog back.

Maybe the next run.

Ahhh sorry about expense and missed bass but glad about your dog. After 40 years of owning generations of Labrador Retrievers, our total dog-expenses could have equipped several bands, several times over. On the other hand, i prefer dogs to most people

Just chiming in to remind everyone that today is the last day to order an L-1000 or L-1005! There are 3-4 "seriously interested" folks who are passing this time around, so I imagine I'll be doing another run either later this summer or sometime this fall.

And with that, this is the end of this first run of L-1000 and L-1005 basses! There are several folks still interested but not yet ready to pull the trigger. If anyone gets antsy in the coming weeks/months, please let me know and I can start shaking the tree again to get another 6 orders together for the next run...

G&L has given me the green light to keep taking orders, so we're still open for business on these! Yee-haw.

It seems to have become somewhat open ended (since I've shot past the required 6 orders), so I'm going to keep taking orders as long as G&L will accept them...
