G&L Pricing

Yeah, the 12" radius used to be the norm on most of the bass models. 9.5" is the new normal on a lot of them now.

I used to know the default necks without having to look them up, but since the July 1 changes I STILL have to look them up every time I quote a bass. I don't trust my memory on the new specs yet, and my advice would be for everyone considering a special order to do the same. Check out the default neck profile for the model you want before you place an order... you might get an unwelcome surprise otherwise.

Where are you guys seeing the fretboard radiuses on the G&L site? The link seems to only show the radiuses for the old necks. It actually says that the #11 and #12 necks (12" radius) became the 1 5/8" Medium C (you guys said it is 9.5" radius)... If this is the case, I can't tell at all what the radiuses are from the site.

Love this one!

I just updated all the pricing info based on the new 2018 price list.

Fingerboards are the biggest change. Indian Rosewood is now an upcharge ($72 MSRP / $50 Street) due to sourcing difficulties related to the CITES stuff. Caribbean Rosewood (aka Chechen) is the new "free" Rosewood.
