G&l sb-2 tribute pricing please.

Hey I need advice on a bass.. I know I know, I hate these threads also, but I've never owned a G&l..
It's a tribute. That means it's a lower model correct?
Anything I should look for?
Fair price if you were to purchase this bass used?
Any help is appreciated.
I've talked the seller down a considerable amount.
Just wanna know from the G&l experts if I please could, and I didn't want to seek out a club to ask,, I've googled and around 500$ is what I'm coming up with..?
Appreciate any and all help guys!

What you have pictured looks like an older, Korean-made Tribute. The new Tributes are made in Indonesia, and are arguably not quite as nice as the older Korean Tribbys. The Tribute line uses the same pickups as the MIA G&L counterparts, but the rest of the bass is local content. Also, Tributes are not Plek'ed, as are the MIA basses.

I'd say the Korean Tribute is worth a bit more than a used Indonesia Tribute. For a nice Korean SB2, I think I'd pay $400 or $450 tops, if it played and felt great.
