That also would be a solid plan - as would replacing the CX 210 with a second CX410 - but in terms of downsizing as far as possible while still being able to cut it, a NEO 212 (single cab solution) or two Neo 112s (vertical stack solution) still takes the cake IMO.
Need some advice,on vintage 200MB,just got in a trade. Speaker,seems to be not deteriorated. Also have a newer 112MBX using both the internal,and external at the same time. Last night I while playing sounded like,I had a bad connection,when I would hit the strings,on certain notes,on the bass guitar? After I would get connection noise,it would try boom out,and take off,like I kicked in the passing gear? It would do it just when I would punch it on certain notes? Might have the volume,and master volume too high? I might try using a different bass guitar next time?
Hard to diagnose,unless you hear it for yourself? Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm getting a used Neo 115-III delivered on Wednesday. It will become my primary cab. (The other being a 57.5 pound 210 BLX which I don't much care for.) Super excited to get down to a 40 pound cab.

Maybe dumb question,if I bypass the effects loop,do I put the cable in the send and return? Don't physically have the amp here at home to see?
yes, jump the send to the return. sometimes the jack corrodes on the internal NC contact and inserting the cable takes it out of the circuit.
Much better response than mine - they both test different things. Try jumping first as noted above to test if there's an issue with the effects loop.
If not, then you can try going straight into the return from your bass to test if there's an issue with the preamp itself.

How do the 400RB/700RB/1001RB sound compared to the class-A MB series, 200. 500, 800, and Fusion 550 Fusion 800?
I have a MB200 and MBF800. I recently spent two minutes playing through a 1001RB (and also a GK cab and a 1st rate bass new to me); it sounded quite good, but that is hardly a fair comparison or test considering the limited time and the other different components in play along with the amp.
So, I'd be interested to hear form anyone who has some direct experience with both series of amps, for the purposes of comparison. TIA.
Additionally, how does the 1001RB compare to the 700RB sound-wise? I have an opportunity to buy a used 700RB for about $300.
