Gallien Krueger Club. GK Rules !

Flats finally worn in, no effects, and my rig sounds like an upright now! (At least to my ears, not an upright player myself.). It was pretty cool, and I could really tell EQ changes when I tweaked. Rig sounded great as always, but now I can see exactly what my pedals add. Vintage sounds from my rig are new, but welcome.

Had a Halloween show last weekend. First time playing a gig with an amp in 3 years. When I showed up, I was thrilled that I'd brought my GK BL600 and my 810 as the provided PA for this "show" was a pair of SP2s on sticks as opposed to the Macauley tops and subs we were told were going to be there. So, I needed to take 300 watts and 80 inches of speakers and drive a quarter of a city block. And by all accounts, it did. So, I appreciate the desire to fire up your amp and cab "in anger."

I believe it. People say they hear my 410 4 houses away. When they're outside at least.

We had the cops called a couple weeks ago and they asked my girlfriend if the radio was up real loud. Doesn't mean anything but it was a late drunken night so we all took it like a huge compliment 'hey, they think we should be on the radio!' Haha
Similar here. Cops pulled up and asked the neighbor if it was the radio. He said it was our practice, and the cop rolled on by.

1x112 for practice/acoustic shows, 1x212 for most shows, 2x212 for bigger stuff, and 5x12 for????....:D

Not pictured is my 700RB-II, which has a problem, the return on the effects loop cuts out the entire signal. I can work around it by not using the loop, but I gotta get it fixed so it doesn't get worse(a bit bummed, I've only had this amp for 9 months. At least it's still under warranty.). So now I need to get another amp. I play in a modern rock cover band, so I keep going back and forth between the MB500, MB800, and the MBF800. I also considered the 1001RB-II, but with my recent shoulder repair, I really like the idea of a high-powered micro amp(don't shoot me, but I'm also eyeing an Aguilar Tone Hammer 500...:bag:). Not sure what basses I'll be playing, I just sold my Dingwalls for the same reason:bawl:, but they'll probably be active. Anyway, just wanted to share...
