Gamers, what are you playing these days?

Don't really go on my 360 much now, but I play Gears 3 when I do.
I don't have many games, I tend to play a few to death, tends to be Gears 3, GTA IV, and Modern Warfare 2.
I use to like playing Left for Dead 2, but too many arses on there, leaving games and kicking people, so don't bother with it now.

If anyone wants to really add me, my 360 name is NML1986.

lol stupid question: any fans of the first person driving camera angle in GTA4? lol my friends think I'm weird, but I swear it takes the unrealisticly slow speed of driving in any other angle and gives you the "actual speed" and handles better to boot! :D

I actually hated everything about driving in GTA4. The clumsy follow camera, the worst braking abilities known to man and of course the moon gravity. Nothing like barely clipping a 4" curb to send your car into a series of barrel rolls...

I've been playing free pc games like TF2 and WOT lately.

The only thing I really play on PC is Minecraft, here and there for the past few years. My PC isn't the best, and it's fun.

I just started Dragon Quest VIII on PS2.

I recently discovered I like RPGs a few week ago (Mario RPG). haha. I've missed out on about 20yrs worth of RPGs.
There we go...

DQ8 is indeed awesome, but so is every single game in the series (although I haven't played 9).

The PS2 remake of DQ5 is mindblowing! Although it's in Japanese, some group translated it and released a patch which I applied to the ISO image and tada! The game's in English now!

Yes, old-style RPGs are a goldmine! Enjoy! Feel free to ask for suggestions. ;)

lol then drive in first person. yea, the driving.......it's kinda funny after you play a game with unrealistic driving physics like saints row. what I find is if you use reverse that's actual brake, vs the hand brake which is for slamming you into whereever lol.

Cool. Will do :)
I have Kingdom Hearts ready, after I finish DQ8. I have a lot of roms on my original xbox.
I'm generally pretty bad at video games. I loaded up Zelda for SNES and I died in 5 min. hahaha. I was more into Road Rash, Streets of Rage, Mario 1-3, Excitebike when I was a kid.

I really don't understand what the big catch with gears was. I have the GOW3 Bundle and It just seems.........slow.

I don't know really, I've always been a shoot 'em up player, I like the horde on it, I play on VS matches sometimes, but get whooped, my reactions are too slow now lol.

I enjoy playing more when my friends are online too, but they tend to always be playing the next big game release.

Never liked Zelda. Tried almost all of them and they were boring to me.

Turn-based RPGs are more my style.

Been playing a lot on Minecraft(PC). A lot. I wouldn't recommend it. Its a monumental timesink and may ruin your ability to interact with normal people. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go harvest my Zombie Trap and Spider spawner.

Holy friggin crap. Over Memorial day weekend i swear my son and I logged a solid 24 hours on Minecraft - on the XBOX. We play nearly every day; he also plays it on PC. As long as they keep delivering updates and mods, I won't tire of it soon. It's very immersive, I love the "old style 16 bit-looking" graphics. The number of worlds and domiciles/cave systems we have created is enormous. In one of our latest worlds we created a huge, wooden floored sandstone ballroom, replete with snack bar, stage and restrooms - adjacent to the 10 room hotel with a guided cave tour underground. Crazy stuff!!!
