Somebody replied and suggested that I paid $100. I didn't. I paid a good bit more than that. People keep responding here thinking I did. I wish that I had gotten it for $100!

The only thing that bugs me is the fingerboard finish bubbles.

How does that even happen???

I have an older CIJ Geddy (maybe mid 2000s?) that has bubbled and flaked up and down the edges of the neck; I guess they just do that, maybe exacerbated by temperature changes etc.

Just dug into the gig bag I got with the bass. Set lists were in there, a tuning fork (in A), a tee shirt and a backstage pass w a lanyard. Intials on top of the bag. Some pics:

I think it was really nice of Mr Bowen to buy his sweetie that bass. What? You don’t want to learn bass? I guess I’ll use so it won’t go to waste. I’ll just keep it out here with your table saw and drill press.

Literally had this drop D tuner sitting in my old parts bin. Between that, and the old, ratty, black pickguard that I've laying around for years as well, it's like the bass was meant to come to me to be brought back to life. Lovin it!

This popped up for sale locally today. 1998 MIJ Geddy. Absolutely beat to snot. Spent a lot of time cleaning her and giving her a much needed setup. After a few hours of work, turns out she plays great. The old DiMarzio pups in her sound pretty good too. Guess she was played hard for a reason. Pics....

Nice score! I love it! I'd give $500 for that no problem. When I see a bass that's been played that much for sale I always look for cigarette marks...Lol!

In my eyes its not abused its used...used hard yes, the gig bag explains a lot as they don't offer much protection for van life. Looks like the person was into thrash metal or something, those guys hit it hard! I would leave it
