Since you have the MS60B, try its version of the MXR m80, with the color switch OFF. I like that MUCH better.

More YYZ Pedal love in Ric o sound....
I'd say that means they're processing your order and that you'll get a shipping notification quite soon.Sweetwater just charged my card for the preorder I placed in late April, good sign?

Hopefully! A Sweetwater rep emailed me recently saying that my original PayPal transfer request had expired, and that the next batch of YYZs wasn’t due for a month or so. Maybe they came in early?
Kind of how I'm using mine - always-on, I set it for a nice tone shaping just on the verge of a nice, light growl.
If a song requires it - I simply twist the Drive a tad more to the right for more "effect" mode.

So what, exactly, does the "tight" button do? Is it like a high pass filter or something?
That's actually a pretty good idea. You might want to patent that.I think you wire it up to the drummer... when he starts straying from your zone, the pedal will send 120 VAC to his kick pedal... it's like a shock collar.

Huh, I was thinking is was probably a global HPF set low at something like 40 Hz to tighten up the low end, not the overdrive (which certainly already has at least one pole of HPF). I do wish Tech 21 would provide these details. I don't have one of these yet but am looking to try one at some point.Yup, HPF before the clipping section. Makes the drive tighter and more guitar like, with the expectation that you'd recover the lows by blending in the deep channel and/or boosting the bass knob. Quite useful for high output basses with a lot of low end output, to stop things getting too fuzzy.
