Geddy's new bass???

My first rush concert in september! :hyper: I'm so excited! :hyper: I haven't gone to any before because I'm a youngun.

Sweet!

I've been a huge fan since 1987 and have STILL not seen them live!!!! I always seem to miss out on when they come to NYC (not that I don't go to shows, have seen Sonic Youth like 20 times at least!).

But Exit Stage Left is my favorite concert film of all time! (The CD version sounds pretty tame/sterile though but the DVD rocks!)

I'm a huge Rush fan, and I think the Geddy model is over priced, 12 years ago it was like $650 in Musicians Friend, now its over $1000.
I'm pretty sure they were $699 in late 2006, so that's a pretty sharp increase over a short period. Over the course of 12 years, that increase would be more understandable--that's close to the rate of inflation.

Not really mate no.
I'm perverse, I loved his Steinberger!

BUt I don't buy all that stuff about him using the jazz so much in the studio, except for Moving Pictures

I can hear the Rick on a lot more of the early stuff, and on Power Windows, the Berger is very present, even though its a Wal in teh vids.

Geddy will always be intertwined with the Rick for me

Thanks alot. Yeah it sucks they missed Montreal. They play Quebec City but it's outdoors...no seats so I figured SPAC show was a better bet...... Oh well 3 hour drive is a small price to pay to see Rush.

there are outdoor seats at SPAC too(as well as indoor),its an open air ampitheatre so if you have "lawn seats" be prepared for any foul weather that may happen...BTW the drive down I-87 is very scenic road that goes thru the Adirondack mountains,so enjoy the ride and the show
