I didn't stick with Kiss after the Love Gun / Rock and Roll Over era, but wasn't he using / endorsing Pedulla for awhile?

He used some Pedullas and Spectors (besides his model he played from late 70's 'till early 90's) during middle/late 80's along with some Staccato basses and some other stuff.
I guess he stopped using other basses when he started working on his Punisher bass (early 90's, Revenge album era).

That bass's "white" areas are actually "glow-in the-dark" paint. I have seen it several times and when the stage lights go out, it looks pretty wild.

Swanky jazz standards gigs?

Yes in my dinner jacket. Clearly not the best bass for metal....... Or is it???? I'd use the axe for jazz and the Punisher for funk. Perhaps a Fodera for metal?
