I have a geddy lee jazz bass (passive) Its not that I haven't gotten a good tone out of the amp, I would just like to experiment more.

Hey guys, has anyone run the Shuttle 9.0 with an Avatar B212 Neo?
I'm wanting to shed some pounds from my current setup, and leaning heavily towards this combo. I play mainly classic rock and blues, plus some 80's hair band covers. Will likely buy two 212's to use for bigger shows.
Thanks!
D
I just got a Shuttle 9.0, with Uber 210 and 410: one word awesome! What a great sounding amp/cab combo: totally cuts through.
I've been experimenting with running a Joe Meek ThreeQ Compressor/EQ through the effects loop of my Shuttle 9. Should I be using balanced cables for this or are the unbalanced cables I've been using OK?

Totally serious....The SVT sounded OK, the 9.0 kinda owned it!
Compliments and positive remarks about the 9.0 on a SVT 810 today.

Man...what a beautiful Roscoe! They're one of my favorite basses. I don't own one though...yet.
I just bought a 9.0 to add to my Genz Benz collection. The local music store was having a big sale and I got it for $499.99 new.I also got a good deal on a MIA fender precision for $900.00.
The cab wasn't the best for smooth Jazz R&B, nor was the amp (it wasn't the best sounding one I heard) I had my 9.0 with me and I plugged it in, TOTALLY sounded awesome (and massively better IMO)
Actually, the amp sounded great with this indi rock band that played earlier in the day.
OT, but yeah Roger, this one is a work of art. Here's a few better pics:

Just Best Offer on ebay if you want the bag and amp for 650ish. That is how I got mine for $700, then I found out others were getting them for less.
60% of the time it works every time
there are 4 different ebay stores offering Best Offer, not every store gives insane deals but "Andrew's Music" where I got mine will give it to you for less than $700.

I just got an S9 and happened to put it on my NV610, which was not getting much use. No more. That is an outstanding combination. As Mike says about the SVT, the S9 owns the NV610. Fantastic tone monster, especially with fretless. Sort of new school meets old school. I'll try to get pics up by the weekend. This may become my "rig" of choice. Just have to see if the NV610 fits in the trunk of my Accord.
