This amp is just the cat's meow.
Is anyone using it in a rack? I am thinking about racking mine with a tuner/lights/power strip.
Just wondering if that is risky from a cooling perspective?
I racked mine for a very short time but found it easier to keep it in the front pocket of my gig bag. The vents are on the side and there's plenty of space on either side when it's racked so you shouldn't have an issue with it overheating.
FYI, I had an issue one night with a sketchy power situation and unplugging the Shuttle 9 from the power conditioner and going directly into the wall seemed to take care of the problem.
After using this amp in several situations now , a few thoughts... it runs very cool even after long operation times and being pushed . I often don't need as much volume as I think I need once the band starts moving air , even with a loud drummer I don't think I've gone past 10:00 on the master yet and almost always settle with it around 9:00 and the D.I. is worth it's weight in gold , did I mention the D.I.
