Genz Benz Shuttle Max 12.0

I used my MAX12 on a gig yesterday with very nice house PA support.. The DI worked great... The Sound guy that usually likes to use his trusted radial DI liked the shuttle DI and we went with it..
That amp is Loud.. I actually had to roll off the bass control just a little.. The Max12 is a warm sounding amp... The sound company did supply the Auralex platform.. which i really liked alot...

I was using my leftover pair of Aggy cabs but have a pair of Neox112s that are on "OUT FOR DELIVERY" right now....

Maybe I failed to say that my LOUD rock gig was my backline support only,front of house is just 5 vocals, all SPLs were off the stage. The guitar player is balls to the walls Bogners, and I cut right through.
I have not had time to tweek with the EQ, I basically plug and play with the Lakland 5 knobs set flat and with every knob on the amp panal at 12:00, a 482i cracked 3/4 open, and a 266 gated compressor set fairly consevative. Still kicks butt w/o any adjustments. This Saturday I will play a large room with my 210-410-115 for near 1,000 watts on stage. Is headroom the word I'm looking for? It will be nice to not be so loud to achive the same "push and oomph" results as before with my old 600s. The F-Jazz 4 is extreemly warm and buttery through this amp, a little harder transition for me.

Just to make sure I've got this straight. I do not plan to ever have to power two cabs. I play in my music studio. Even if I play out, it won't be a very big place or a ton of people.

1. So if I am playing out of one Berg NV610, a 4 ohm cab, then I would get the full 600watts, correct? Under the above mentioned circumstnces that should be plenty for me.

2. So no advantage to the 12 then correct? Seems like I'd be wasting a power amp and some cash.

Seems obvious but I just want to ask the stupid question.

BTW, I just played the ShuttleMax 6.0 thru a Berg 610 and oh lord, the tones (yes, I mean tones plural). Any tone I wanted was not just simulated or produced. It was exceptionally crafted by this combo. Reggae, jazz, rock, whatever. Got to sell some gear.
