Genz Benz Streamliner Part 3!!!!

Morning folks!
Trigger pulled, courtesy of Bass Direct in the UK. They won't be in the UK for a few weeks, though... missing a short tour I'm doing at the end of the month. Damn that slow boat.
It's replacing my RH450 which was a great head, but something about the SL900 just appeals to me. Can't wait to try it...!

I asked this earlier. How is GB production doing with the demand on this amp? The reason I ask is that my local dealer said he won't get any stock until early March on ANY product. I wanted to order a Streamliner 900, and Uber Quad 1288T, but I don't want to wait a month...

Wonder how the Streamliner will sound with a 5751 in v1? I have a Raytheon 5751 that I slapped into my old Walkabout and I just loved the resulting creamy bliss. Unfortunately, it didn't make much of a difference with my current Shuttle 6.0 so I just run another NOS 12ax7 in there, a Sylvania. It doesn't create a dramatic difference over the stock tube - just a bit more "smoothness".
Regardless, I'm definitely picking up a SL once the initial feeding frenzy subsides. I just have to decide between the 900 (which is likely overkill for gigging here in NYC) and the 600.

Getting ready to head to rehearsal. I have my Streamliner ready to go. Will report back after I get to put it through it's paces.

I should add that I'm especially happy to be back in the Genz fold after they bent over backwards to try and help me with a problem I had with a GBE750 a couple of years back, despite being on the other side of the Atlantic.
I'll never forget the effort Jeff & Co. put into it - even though we couldn't get to the bottom of it, they were fantastic every step of the way.

I'd like to try one...but I'm going to give it 6-12 months for the amp to get it's self around the UK a little while.
You can call Greg at Rocket Music. He's got a second shipment en route (he sold out his first batch). He's my local dealer, even though he's 3K miles away. Awesome service.
Anyone else order from the discount outfit in SC?
If so, have you received status updates or better yet, the GB head?
