I knew it was coming.
I said my piece, it is what I believe, I stand behind it, and I'm moving on.
I do not represent any company on these pages.
Now can we get back to the Streamliner?
What I find I like the most about this amp is that it appears to be tailored to my sound. I pretty much run it flat. When I'm using my Upright Bass I back off on the bass control just a smidgen.
I like the tube choices I made for it and am getting good results with from my rather large tube stash. It is a breath of fresh air to be able to throw a very good tube preamp section back into the mix of the Micro Amp.
I was loving my Shuttle 9.0 and could not imagine how it's tone/features could possibly be one upped but it has been. My Shuttle 9.0 will now become my rehearsal amp and my Streamliner will be the main coarse Amp.
And yes at rehearsal we usually go 12 to 14 hours with one break in the middle for food. Some of that time is taken up shooting the breeze but most of it is taking each song in our rather large repertoire and dissecting them down to the subtlest finer points. Each little accent is planned out though yes we do a good bit of improvising as well. I have several songs I solo on and rarely do I play the same thing twice.
My Streamliner 900 got put through it's paces for sure yesterday.
What a great amp.
