Hey guys, no problem, I was as surprised as you! Anyway I have one left for the shop (which has just been bought) but I am loving this amp, all the great Genz open tone with some nice tubey goodness to fill things out - harmonically rich, sonically pure.....nice!

12au7/RCA 5814A in V1.
Mullard ECC83 Long Plate in V2
Blackburn Tech Tube E813CC in V3.

I just found a note I wrote to myself regarding someone switching tubes to the ones I listed above.

Not that I think it needs it as it's already pretty damn clean sounding, but I'm a clean sound guy and wondered if this made any massive differences for a clean sound.

Again, I'm as giddy as a school girl with her first boyfriend with this thing right now.

Folks seem to be overlooking the Genz cabs here. I love my AE212 also, but the Neox 212 would be great with the SL. The Uber 410 would kill also, but IMHO the Uber 212 would be ideal! That Uber 212 is light and has a definite attitude unlike the AE212. It would really take the SL to another level I think.

Wasn't overlooking them, but its the same issue, the NEOX
212 is 600W at 4 ohm, same as the Berg, is that not too
little? I've never had to do this cabinet matching stuff so
forgive my inexperience

Oh, I see the UB 410 and quad can be 8 ohm, that would
work.

That's just right for me. Amp a little more powerful than the cab. Gives you lots of headroom.
