That is shocking, and I hope Jeff, Agedhorse etc. will agree and do something about it.
I am 100% sure no one from GB is responsible for this.
I was referred to Fender Europe because they are doing service for GB in Europe. (At that moment a friend of mine, who is working in the industry, warned me about Fender's reliability regarding delays)
Fender referred me to this tech in Belgium who apparently has a great reputation.
Problem was that communication between me and this tech was very, very difficult: some of my emails were not answered, one crucial one was replied to a wrong email adress.
So delays became longer and longer. At some moment I was quoted a minimum of 12 weeks for the module to arrive from Fender.
16 weeks later, still no reply.
At that moment I contacted Jeff Genzler (and Fender EU).
Then the tech said he needed to figure out what version of the board was needed!!!
I had to pay in advance the whole summ.
In the meantime GB sent the right board via express delivery to the tech (no word from Fender about this)
5-6 weeks later my amp is finally ready!
So as soon as Jeff G. seemed to take care of it, it finally happened.
So, the whole operation would have been much easier if just sent the amp beck to the US and having it serviced over there instead of going thru the official channels.
Once again thanks to the GB people!!!! Without them, I would still be Streamliner-less!
