With our amps, people pick on the smallest details. :hiding:
You know, when it comes to Genz I think you are right, and I don't know why. Folks seem to gloss over some of the most glaring design flaws from your competitors, and then gripe about little things they don't like about the Shuttles. I know I've stated that some of the knobs have been harder to read, but it definitely wasn't an issue necessarily that I'd make a big deal over.

That said, thanks for listening. I'm sure the knobs will be much easier to view and adjust. You guys are simply the best. I'm loving my Shuttle 9.0 as much or more than I did my original Neo-pak. Not that the 1200 and 6.0 weren't nice, but just something special about the 9.0. I will try a 900 for sure, and sooner rather than later this time!

Don't know if this is off topic or not, but I am considerably interested in the GB Streamliner.

I've been in a situation with my main Pop gig where I need tons more headroom than my Shuttle 6.0 has afforded (I selected the 6.0 after demoing a Mark Bass LMII and AG500). Also, the Shuttle 6.0 doesn't seem to voice out the lows quite where I would like at higher volumes. However, I love pushing the tube on that amp.

(I also run a lot of Bass Synth effects, and the tube on the 6.0 compresses it slightly, while adding a little heft to the effect.)

However, I have been playing with a DB750 on loan to me from a friend, and really love the headroom and tonality of the amp. I would potentially consider a DB751 as a result. The amp voices well with my 2 GS112's.

However, the 3 tube gain stage of the Streamliner sounds like a likely competitor on one level or another with the Aggie DB751. Although, I have yet to come across a GBE 1200 I can demo that seems to be in direct competition.

Once the amp comes out, I would love to hear it somehow.

Obviously, the ideal situation would be to demo it on a gig, but those opportunities are not readily available.

P.S. Would love to try the Uber 1288, and or other Uber cabinets.

Anybody ever visit the Genz Benz facilities?

yes....NAMM release. No videos yet. We are forwarding an amp to Ed Friedland though so he can do a video.

Love Mr. Friedland's reviews.
It would be great if you let us know when it's filmed and up on the interweb.
This amp must be real; they even printed the name on the boxes. Would have been much funnier if the whole thing was just a hoax. Lightweight, powerful, tubey tone, great sound, reasonable price; yeah sure...

roger, you guys are one of the few companies that will take niggling over minor details to heart, so everyone feels comfy with it. you should ignore them ;)

just kidding!

Gelb should have them to demo.

I believe it such a good thing to have you guys listening to us and delivering the goods. Still yet even better when we moan about wanting a home run and you guys knock it across town.

I can say I have never seen a team like Genz so in tune with it's players, consumers, trends etc.......

You guys really have your act together. :hyper:
