I had a Mesa M9...and it was a nice head...but man did it run hot...and mine had a bit of hiss...But it might be the loudest 2-space rack head I've ever heard...wow...it was a beast.
[...we're getting a bit OT, but while we're at it...]
Apparently some of the early units had some issues, but they have made changes that take care of all of them -- at least that's the word on the street -- I don't own one (yet), but I would in a heartbeat if I had the spare change.
Back to topic...I'd love to compare the Streamliner 900 and the ShuttleMax 9.2 with a bunch of different cabs (a pair of Neox112T, a pair of Uber210, a pair of Berg AE112, an AE410, an NV610, a Glockenklang Neo Take 5, and one of Duke's upcoming Thunderchild 115). That would be an awesome shootout!
Not sure the Streamliner could get clean and quick enough to hook up with my own tone goals, but it would be fun trying it out, I'm sure.
SMax 9.2, Mesa M9, & TCE RH750 are at the top of my current GAS list.
