Sorry should have been more clear, I was using my TalkBass app so I was rushed lol.
I wanted to see what 60s/70s Jazz players had to say about using both streamliner 900 and the AE410. Most of the reviews have been either with bigger subs or pbasses. I personally think Ken's VP5 sounds better with the AE212 vs the ae410.
I'm assuming the punchy characteristics of the AE410 with the combination of the streamliner and my 60s jazz bass would give me a nice punchy but smooth low end. Just want to hear other people's take on this.

Got my STL 600 today. Used it at church tonight paired up with a 410 4 ohm cab. Did'nt have time to tweak the settings much and I had the best tone i've ever had. This amp is awesome it sounds like bass is supposed to, and I had several compliments.

Another Gig in a High Ceiling warehouse that was Long and Narrow......no PA support and the amp did awesome!!! Of course 7 parts to this thread already and I"m probably preachin to the choir.

I'm preaching to the choir too but Friday night was my first gig with my STL 900 and wow! what a great tone. The drummer and guitarist were both very pleased with my huge, punchy, cutting tone. A few friends were in the audience and they all said that the bass sounded great and punchy. I was playing it through 2 Avatar Neo 210s and I felt it moving my pant legs at times. The band leader even took me out of the FOH because he felt like it wasn't needed. What a great amp.
I didn't have a gig bag for the amp so I went out and found a great backpack style laptop bag that fits it perfectly. It came with a special slightly padded cover that the amp fits in nicely and the inside pocket is ideal. It also carries all my cords, pedals, and whatnot. I'll find a link to post because it really is perfect.
Also, yesterday I used my Boss ODB Overdrive pedal and the tones I was getting out of that were really sweet too. If overdrive can even be called grindy, dirty AND smooth this would be it.

I can see why some don't like this amp. I was at a rehearsal today for a big show featuring lots of players and my rig was backline for 6 different bassists. I am using the Streamliner 900 with an Avatar TB153. The P bass guys and a Rick guy thought it was all that (and a bag of chips), but one jazz bass player fought to get a sound he liked. Both the amp and, especially, my cabinet were pretty far from the GK-with-a-410 norm for him.
I must admit im struggling to get a tone i love with my P. To the point that im probably going to sell my 600 and get a MB F1 this coming weekend.
Its a great head and its doing the job but as Ken told me back in part 6, its a totally different tone and im really not getting it. After 5 gigs now through both a 1210R and 1212L (i know, essentially the same) ive still not found "my" tone.
The one thing holding me back is that listening back to gig recordings the bass sounds great, fits in just perfectly. Saying that, the recordings arent straight out of the recorder (strapped to the singers mic stand, centre stage) so i know it didn't sound like this at the gig.
Shame but i guess not everything is perfect for everyone. I do put it down more to the cab than the head but i dont really want to change the cab just yet.

Very interesting.
With the EQ and Gain controls I can dial a plethora of tonal options up. I can get squeaky clean spank or big ol woolly mammoth tones.
I'm still amazed at what kind of tone and shear thunder I can get out of my two little 1x12 Berg cabs and my Streamliner 900.

Yeah, i guess im just not ready for such a big jump in tone. Maybe i like the MB tone more than i thought.

I think a lot of it has to do with your choice in cabs. Nothing wrong with them of course, but those specific Schroeder's pair quite nicely with the Markbass heads. Wouldn't be my first choice for pairing with the Streamliner.
I loved the tone of my 600 through my 1212 ........... course I just upgraded to the 412 ........sound is a matter of personal taste though..........get and play what ya like!!
