I used that bag with my Streamliner. It fits perfect. I can put the power cord, pedal tuner and speaker cable in the front pouch as well. Works like a charm!

I remember from thread #6 someone found a laptop case that fit the Streamliner well.

I happen to find a Gator 12 X 12 X 5 mixer soft case for $28 at MF that I am hopping will fit the bill for my incoming used SL900.

I own the GB bag for the Shuttle 6.0 and am not impressed. The seams split on it after a month or so of not very heavy use forcing me to sew it up. It also doesn't seem like it offers that much protection and because the Streamliner bag looks similar I chose to go in a different direction.

Bingo! The gator bag I purchased was 1/3 the GB bag...Probably made by the same manufacturer. And I can still get the power cord and speaker cable in the pouch..AND my pedal tuner.

When I say lift I mean steal. Im using a light weight rack case. 7lbs, 6lbs SL600, 5lbs for tuner and power conditioner. So, 18lbs beats my old rack mount and head at 45lbs. My whole GB rig, two NEOX 112 cabs and the rack case come in at 82 lbs vs my old Ashdown rig that came in at around 218lbs. And it fits in the trunk of my car and then on a lightweight fold up handtruck. 1 trip from car to gig. Old rig, needed truck, SUV or van. Multiple trips from car to gig and a sore back at end of night. Best of all this small package sounds soo good too!

but I have a big outdoor Memorial Weekend gig coming up. Its a pain to reach the stage area so I've used my two GB Neox212T cabs but mostly a single 410 cab at this gig in the past. Band has to get pretty loud on the outdoor deck.

I'd like to use the two 212's stacked vert but don't want to take the Gator 4 space pre/pwer amp rig to run those @ 2 ohms.

Could I run my GB Str-900 and Neopak 3.0, by using the effects send/return, thereby using the 900's pre as my EQ section. I think the Neopak's EQ would be bypassed and just sending its' poweramp into one cab(?), is that right? Still allowing me to use two 4 ohm cabs with the 900 pre for EQ?

Am I thinking this out correctly? If so will it work well? Any reason not to do it? I could take two 8 ohm, Epi UL410's but that's a major schlep at this annual gig we do. Thanks for any helpful replies.

I used a DELL laptop case and it fitted perfectly. Very well padded and a bit of room for leads etc.
The only problem i had was the fact that it said DELL on it, that could make it a target at gigs.

I use this same bag/case. I knew I was keeping it around for something. Absolutely perfect for my needs.

A MarkBass amp's effects loop doesn't bypass it's EQ. You'd probably have to run the F1's EQ flat (knobs straight up) and maybe tweak it a bit to get the sound you want from the second cab. Otherwise it should work fine and you should hear the STL900's preamp thru that amp/cab pretty much.

The other way around. Effects send on the 900 to return on the F1. Then use the speakon out on each amp for the cabs. Set the EQ flat on the F1. As already mentioned, the effects loop is pre-EQ on the MB gear. If you don't like the sound of the cab connected to the F1. You may have to tweak the EQ slightly. Experiment and see what you think
