I missed the objectionable posts as well, but to those who consider it reasonable to write abusive comments directed at someone who has put the time and effort that Ken has into helping others make decisions about gear are deeply, well, wrong.
It's a bass amp, fer cryin' out loud -- it's not like he abandoned his research into a cancer cure. It's a pretty saturated field at present (good for us!), and there's no reason to keep putting the miles into something that doesn't measure up to whatever critieria you impose, whether the hyenas agree with you or not, when there is any number of good, tried and tested amplifiers that one can be reasonably confident are not going to crap out at the next gig. And that he already owns!
I'm sure it's an isolated problem that GB will have ironed out at any moment. But really ....?
